Triumph has finally unveiled Trident 660, the company's new model in the middleweight segment that has been brought in with retro design, modern features and powerful engines. It is expected that Triumph Trident 660 will be brought to India in the coming times.
Under the hood, it has a 660 cc, inline three cylinder, liquid cooled engine which provides 79.8 bhp of power at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It will also be made available in the A2 variant in the European market. The Triumph Trident 660 gets a 6-speed gearbox and slipper culture and a quick shifter option.
The Triumph Trident 660 comes with a retro design with modern features like LED lighting and Bluetooth ready instrument cluster. Bluetooth module is available as accessories and it will offer turn by turn navigation, as well as phone, music control and Go Pro control.
The Triumph Trident gets a 660 tubular steel perimeter frame. For braking, discs braking have been provided, 310 mm disc in front and 255 mm single rotor at the back. For suspension, a 41 mm function fork and adjustable mono-shock have been provided.
This bike has a 17-inch cast aluminum wheel with Michelin Road 5 tires. Along with this, 45 accessories have been given optionally, which can be further improved the look and utility of the bike.
The styling of the Triumph Trident 660 features a conventional fuel tank, knee cut out, underslung exhaust, five-spoke wheels, flat stock handlebar, adjustable brake lever, and step-up seat. This bike has been made available in five color options and comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
