BMW has launched the BS6 models of 'G310 R' and 'G310 GS' in India. This time, the company has launched both these bikes at a much lower price than before. The starting price of G 310 R is 2.45 lakhs, while the starting price of G 310 GS has been kept at 2.85 lakh rupees. These prices are ex-showroom.
Both the bike gets new LED headlamps, changed tail-lights, and a new exhaust with new LED DRLs. Both the bikes have been launched with new colors and a different sets of graphics. Under the hood, they get a 313 cc engine that generates a torque of 27.3 Nm at 7,700 RPM with 34 bhp at 9,700 RPM.
Talking about the looks, both the bikes are quite different from each other. The red color alloy wheel looks great on the BMW G 310 R. BMW Motorrad bikes are offered with a three-year unlimited kilometer warranty. A fourth and fifth-year warranty can be taken at an additional cost of Rs 16,250. However, the first 500 customers will have to pay only Rs 5,499 for this.
BMW G 310 R was earlier priced at Rs 2.99 lakh, while the BS6 G 310 GS was priced at Rs 3.49 lakh, which means it has become cheaper by Rs 64 thousand. Both the bikes have got minor cosmetic changes as well as the BS6 engine. The company had already started booking for both the bikes. One can book this bike with a token amount of Rs 50,000.
