Aston Martin, the UK's famous luxury sports car maker, has launched its first SUV ‘DBX’ in the Indian market. The company has announced that only 11 units of the Aston Martin DBX SUV will be available in India for sale.
The Aston Martin DBX gets a 4-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine is derived from Mercedes-AMG, which generates 550 PS of power and 700 Nm of torque. The SUV is claimed to touch 100kmps speed in just 4.5 seconds. However, the top speed of SUV is capped at 291 km / h.
A 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is provided with the V8 engine. The engine also gets the cylinder activation technology which automatically closes one bank of the cylinder when the work speed is low.
Talking about the interior of the car, it gets full-grain leather seats. The cabin's center console has a 10.25-inch touchscreen while the driver is provided with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, which comes with a fairly sporty layout with super sharp graphics. Also, a 360-degree camera system and ambient lighting system are also standard in the SUV. Through this light system, 64 different colors can be illuminated in two zones. The car features 14-speakers (13 speakers and 1 subwoofer) for the best music experience. The DBX has 632-liter boot space. With this, the rear seat can be divided in the ratio of 40:20:40 for more space in the SUV.
The DBX features a wide grille that extends across the front of the SUV. The SUV weighs a little over 5,000 pounds, which is less than the Bentley Continental GT. The rear of the car gets a twin-exhaust system fitted with bumpers. The roof-mounted spoiler, LED taillights and signature ducktail-style boot lid spoiler add to the look of the car.
The Aston Martin DBX SUV has been launched in India with an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 3.82 crore. The company is already selling this car in the international market. Many features are standard in the car. But buyers can also customize this car according to their choice and convenience. The DBX will compete with super SUV cars Lamborghini Urus (Lamborghini Urus) and Audi RS Q8.
