Italian luxury bike manufacturer, Ducati has announced the launch of the Panigale V2 in India at the starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ducati Panigale V2 gets its power from a 955 cc Superquadro twin-cylinder engine which pumps out 155 PS and 104 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. The superbike also gets bi-directional quick-shifter as standard.
Ducati Panigale V2 gets some design cues from Panigale V4, including the twin LED headlamp with LED DRLs, two large air intakes, a tall windscreen, a double layer fairing, muscular fuel tank, step-up style split seat, and signature 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The superbike comes with dual projector headlamps with eyebrow styled LED DRLs. It also gets features like a traction control system, wheelie control, and a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) which instantly detects bike's roll, yaw, and pitch angles. It also gets a 4.3-inch colored TFT instrument cluster.
Panigale is available in two colors- Ducati Red and White Rosso with red accents and priced at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Italian bike manufacturer had already commenced the pre-bookings of this bike with the initial amount of Rs 1 lakh.
