Former Ford India MD, Anurag Mehrotra Joins Tata Motors As Vice President International Business Strategy For Cvs

Former Ford India MD, Anurag Mehrotra has joined Tata Motors as Vice President- International Business and Strategy of its Commercial Vehicle Business Unit (CVBU) with effect from October 1, 2021.
 
Mehrotra will be reporting to the Executive Director & Head, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit
 

In his most recent assignment, Mehrotra was President & Managing Director, Ford India where he has spent over a decade across multiple leadership in marketing, sales and services.

In a move affecting approximately 4,000 employees. the U.S. automaker Ford recently decided to end its more than two-decade-long presence in India, taking a hit of $2 billion.
 
Following exits by General Motors and Harley Davidson, Ford is the fifth major automaker to stop vehicle manufacturing in India since 2017
