Hero Electric, an Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, recently launched an improved lineup of electric scooters. The Optima CX2.0, Optima CX5.0, and Nyx CX5.0 electric scooters have all received updates from the manufacturer. Soon, the upgraded e-scooters' prices will be revealed.
A single LFP battery powers the Hero Optima CX2.0 e-scooter, while dual LFP batteries power the Optima CX5.0 and Nyx CX5.0.
2023 Hero Optima CX5.0
A 3 kWh lithium-ion battery with a 113 km range powers the upgraded Optima CX5.0. The CX5.0 has a 1.9 kW motor and has a top speed of 55 kmph, just like the Optima CX2.0. Its kerb weight is 103 kg, and its ground clearance is 165 mm. The battery can be charged from 0-100 using a dual charger in around three hours.
2023 Hero Nyx CX5.0
Similar to the Optima CX5.0, the 2023 Hero Nyx CX5.0 has the same battery and motor. The battery has a top speed of 48 kmph and a stated range of 113 km per charge. With a dual charger, the Nyx CX5.0 battery can be fully charged in around 3 hours. It has a high ground clearance of 175mm and weighs about 106 kg.
2023 Hero Optima CX2.0
A 2 kWh lithium-ion battery, which has a stated range of 89 km, powers the 2023 Hero Optima CX2.0. In four and a half hours, it can be fully charged. The 1.9 kW motor of the electric scooter allows for a top speed of 48 kmph. The revised Optima CX2.0 has a ground clearance of 165mm and a kerb weight of 93 kg. A side-stand sensor, drive mode lock, reverse roll protection, and integrated braking system are a few of its important features.
