Hyundai Alcazar Features Revealed Ahead Of Global Debut

Hyundai has officially unveiled its upcoming premium SUV- Alcazar in India.  The Alcazar will be available in both six and seven-seat layout options. The six-seat variant offers captain seats in the middle row, on the flip side, the seven-seat variant gets a bench seat. The SUV will be essentially based on popular Creta. However, It will be longer than Creta by 30 mm to accommodate 3rd-row seating.

Alcazar will be offered in two engine options - 3rd Gen Nu 2-litre petrol and U2 1.5-liter diesel. The petrol engine can churn out 159 Ps and has 191 Nm of torque whereas the diesel engine delivers 115 Ps of power and torque of 250 Nm. Both engines will be available with the option of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. 

The carmaker said that the third-row seats get the reclining function and are also fully flat foldable to maximize the boot space. The SUV will also offer side AC vents with speed control on third-row seats.

Talking about the exterior, the SUV gets redesigned front grille, bold C pillar, LED headlamps and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The interiors of the Alcazar feature a black and brown color theme. Moreover, it gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connected car technology. The connected features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with voice recognition will also be available.
