Hyundai Motor India Ltd, has reported a cumulative sales of 60 249 units in the month of July 2021. The carmaker sold 48042 units in the domestic market compared to 38200 units during the same month last year, a growth of 25.8 percent. Hyundai being one of the largest exporters from the country saw its exports grow 3 fold in July 21, with 12207 units being exported compared to 3100 units in July last year. In total the company reported a dispatch of 60249 units in July compared to 41300 units during the same month last year.
Commenting on the July 2021 sales, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, ‘Hyundai registered domestic sales of 48 042 units in July backed by a strong performance of our newly launched 6- and 7-seater SUV, “The Hyundai ALCAZAR” and our other segment defining products like CRETA, i20, and VENUE. A positive growth momentum is clearly visible in the Passenger Vehicle Industry with the stabilization of macro-economic factors, good monsoons, and increase in consumer shift towards personal mobility.’
