The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is available in six different variants, that is Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus. Looking at the pricing of the compact SUV, it ranges between Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 19.65 lakh.
Here are the features you will get in your Grand Vitara Sigma (Base Model) variant –
The entry-level Grand Vitara is virtually identical to the normal model from the front. You will get the halogen projector headlamps instead of the LED headlamps available in the higher-end models. The SUV has plastic coverings on its steel wheels in profile and integrated LED tail lamps complete the look.
The interior of the compact SUV features the same black and maroon colour scheme as all mild-hybrid models. Although this version lacks an entertainment system, but Maruti has installed steering-mounted audio controls that may be customised using aftermarket gadgets. Additionally, the entry-level SUV has fabric material rather than the leatherette seat covers found in more expensive models.
A colour multi-info display, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, electronically adjustable and folding ORVMs, and rear AC vents are further interesting features. Dual airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assistance, and rear parking sensors all contribute to passenger safety. The Grand Vitara looks decently equipped.
The base model only has a five-speed manual transmission and a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 103 PS. In the higher-end models, this engine is available with an optional automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. A 1.5-liter strong-hybrid petrol engine with 116 PS is also an option for the Grand Vitara from Maruti.
The Grand Vitara's base model rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, MG Astor, and Toyota Hyryder for a price of Rs 10.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
