Mahindra & Mahindra Announces Price Hike Of Up To Rs 63,000

Automobile giant Mahindra has increased prices on their vehicles in the range of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 63,000 in the ex-showroom prices, depending upon the model and the variant. This price revision is a result of a continuous increase in key commodities such as steel, aluminium, palladium, etc.

The current hike comes three months after Mahindra raised the prices of its vehicles by up to Rs. 43,000 in January this year. The increased prices are effective from 14 April 2022 on all the models and variants which include models like XUV700, XUV 300, Mahindra Thar, Bolero Neo, and Scorpio amongst others.

“The company has taken necessary initiatives to partially offset the unprecedented hike in commodity prices to absorb the impact, passing a minimal percentage of cost increase to customers through a price revision.” said Mahindra & Mahindra.

Mahindra has become the latest carmaker to hike prices on their vehicles. Some other carmakers that have recently increased prices on their entire range of models are Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, Audi, BMW, and Hyundai.
