Maruti And Facebook Partner To Help Dealers Set Up Digital Presence

Maruti and Facebook partners to help dealers set up a digital presence. The company enabled customers to discover dealers online in an easy and convenient manner. Through the partnership with Facebook, they digitized dealers across 1000+ outlets via Facebook Location Pages. Facebook trained and enabled dealer digital teams to use Facebook Location Pages. Individual accounts were created to run local geo-targeted lead generation campaigns via Facebook. 

The idea was to generate business value for dealers by setting up an efficient lead generation channel. Geo-targeted campaigns were run to target prospects living within a radius of 2-5 kms of the dealer outlet location. Customers were targeted basis their demographics, location, and interests. Custom Audience and Lookalike targeting was used to reach out to a new audience with higher intent to purchase.

Speaking at the first Facebook Fuel for India event, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India said, “Our research shows that 37% of brand salience and 45% of brand consideration is influenced by digital, and for both more than half is influenced by social media. Maruti has partnered with Facebook for building one of the largest digital retail networks with our 1000+ outlets as part of the hyperlocal program that was started in 2018. The program has become quite big and effective driving quality offline retail experience and conversion. In the last six months alone, through Facebook Maruti has got more than 1.3 million enquiries.”
