Ola Electric Scooter S1 And S1 Pro Launched; Price Starts From Rs 99,999

Ola took the wraps off its much-awaited electric scooter on Sunday. The company has launched this scooter at an initial price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). The scooter has been launched in two variants. The first variant Ola S1 has been priced at Rs 99,999 and the second variant Ola S1 Pro has been priced at Rs 1,29,999 (both ex-showroom).

The electric scooter is being manufactured at its factory in Tamil Nadu. The company claims that the company has the capacity to produce 10 million scooters in a year. The bookings for Ola S1 have already started. Those who had booked this scooter, Ola will deliver it to the homes of those people.

Ola S1 is designed with many features keeping in mind the Indian customers. It gets a seven-inch touchscreen display with lots of connectivity options. Apart from this, reverse mode, cruise control, fast charging are also given. Along with this, the scooter also gets built-in speaker and voice command feature. It also has three riding modes (Normal, Sport and Hyper).

For power, the electric scooter comes with 3.9 KWh battery which is claimed to fully charged the scooter in six hours. However, it can be charged up to 50 percent in just 18 minutes with Ola Supercharger. 

Ola electric scooter is claimed to offers the range of upto 181 Km, acceleration of 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds, and a top speed of 115 kmph.  

Safety & security features include an anti-theft alert system and geo fencing. The front and rear disc brakes keep the rider safe in city stop & go traffic and ‘Hill Hold’ feature. It is available in 2 variants - S1 and S1 Pro, in 10 colours with satin, matte and glossy finishes.
