Rollr Mini, Track Your Car And Your Driving Habits

The Rollr Mini is a device that provides information about your car like its health, live GPS tracking, location history, and analytics through the Rollr application (available on both Android+ apple) on your smartphone.

The Setup - Setting up the Rollr device is very easy. Initially, you have to find the OBD-II (Onboard Diagnostics) port to activate it. It is usually situated under the steering wheel. Plug it and you will notice that green light is glowing, which means it is perfectly plugged in and ready to use. The Next step is to download the Rollr’s application which is available free in both Google Play Store and Apple App store. Once you download the app you will need an activation code which is written on its box. The user interface of the application is very simple. 

Buying this device is not a one-time investment. The device comes with a free annual subscription, thereafter you need to buy a yearly subscription to continue using the device. There is SMS service as well which costs Rs 59/118 extra, for 150/400 SMSs respectively. This service is very useful to receive SMS updates on given number especially, when you are not online.

How it works -  The home screen shows your last ride details of the vehicle along with an overall rating of your driving skills. You can tap on your profile to know more details about your car like real-time health of the car, trips taken, and RollrScore (rating of your driving technique).  RollrScore is influenced by the way you drive, hard braking, speeding and hard acceleration, etc. Avoid these factors to improve your RollrScore. The device can give exact location of vehicle with a data refresh rate of 3 seconds and an error margin in terms of accuracy to a maximum of 5 meters..
