Yamaha Motor India group of companies has announced that the total sales has increased by 33% to 39224 units in the month of December 2020 compared to 29486 units in December 2019. The company has been reporting growth in its sales volumes consecutively over the past 6 months, following the lifting of the COVID-led lockdown.
The company had registered a 4.3% growth in July 2020 compared to July 2019, 14.8% growth in August 2020 with respect to August 2019, 17% growth in September 2020 with respect to September 2019, 31% growth in October 2020 with respect to October 2019 and 35% growth in November 2020 compared to November 2019. The company expects overall demand to grow in 2021 owing to varied demand for personal mobility.
