China's largest electric vehicle maker, BYD has inaugurated its first passenger vehicles showroom in Gurugram and its eleventh outlet in India. The showroom located in Gurugram is managed by Kristan BYD.
Kristan BYD will provide access to BYD’s pure electric vehicles and services for its consumers in Gurugram. Spread across 2002 square feet, equipped with ultra-modern set-up with provision of charging about 100 EVs at any given point of time, the showroom has trained technicians, service equipment, service bays, a customer lounge and a showroom display floor.
Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India, said, “With India's first electric highway between Delhi and Jaipur coming up, one of the landmark green initiatives in the country's EV mobility sector, we are happy to be a part of this by adding our EV dealership in Gurugram and serving customers over here.”
India’s largest 100-point electric vehicle (EV) charging station for four-wheelers was also recently inaugurated in Gurugram. The charging stations has a mix of fast and slow chargers and will be able to charge 576 vehicles in a single day.
The company will also be launching their electric SUV, BYD-ATTO 3 in coming months.
