BYD Reports Global Sales Of More Than 2.17 Lakh Vehicles In Oct 22
BYD reported its monthly sales figures for its foreign markets, selling more than 2.17 lakh units in October 2022. With 2,17,816 units sold, the company reported a 142.2 percent increase in sales from the previous year. The Atto 3 SUV, which will shortly go on sale in India, surpassed the 4 lakh unit mark, bringing the company's total global sales of new energy vehicles to over 2.9 million units.
Sales of passenger cars for the month of October were 2,17,518 units, with 1,03,157 of those being electric cars. The Atto 3 for India, meanwhile, sold 27,548 units in the month across markets, boosting total model sales beyond the 4-lakh threshold.
