Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Electric collaborates with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) and WRI India to train its Diploma in Automobile Engineering program students.
Under the partnership, Hero Electric will provide internships and placements to the students upon completion of this technical course.
This co-created program will provide a learning experience in the electric mobility industry and jointly certify students on course completion. The program will cover numerous aspects of EVs through an in-depth curriculum and exposure.
Furthermore, Hero Electric will assign a technical expert to facilitate the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) formed by DSEU. Additionally, there will be selected Hero Electric employees as guest lecturers for three pieces of training sessions every semester.
Hero Electric will also be creating and updating the curriculum regularly through a structured evaluation mechanism that will include both the theoretical and practical components of the Basic and Advanced Module.
The e2W brand will assist in creating physical and digital instruction and educational material to improvise the course. WRI India is the knowledge partner for the program and will offer research, monitoring, and evaluation support.
It will also facilitate visits to industrial settlements and help organise workshops and seminars to impart on-ground practical knowledge. Moreover, Hero Electric will help set up ‘EV laboratories’ inside the DSEU campus that will be equipped with the necessary equipment to impart practical hands-on training required by the program.
The company says that the collaboration between DSEU and Hero Electric will push new frontiers in the EV industry and open new avenues and job opportunities in the developing field of electric mobility.
