Kia India Sells 23,323 Units In October 22
The company sold 23,323 vehicles in October 2022, according to data given by Kia India. The company recorded a year-over-year gain of approximately 43 percent when compared to the 16,331 automobiles sold during the same month in 2021. Both domestic and international sales are included. Additionally, with two months left in the calendar year, the company sold over 2 lakh units between January and October 2022, well surpassing the 181,583 units sold in 2021.
With 9,777 units sold, the Kia Seltos led the company's sales in October. The Kia Sonet and Kia Carens came in second and third, with 7,614 and 5,479 units sold, respectively. Along with selling 301 units of the Carnival MPV last month, Kia also sold 152 units of the Kia EV6 that were available for client deliveries. Among the top 5 automotive producers in the nation, Kia India kept up its standing.
The 1.5 lakh unit threshold for exports from Kia India's Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh was recently crossed. The automaker currently exports the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens to 95 nations in the Middle East, Africa, Central & South America, Mexico, and the Asia Pacific.
