With the Urus SUV a few years ago and the Urus S last year, both of which made their India debuts shortly after their respective global unveiling, Lamborghini made a dramatic statement. Currently, the Sant'Agata Bolognese automaker has announced that this month, on November 24, 2022, its innovative, high-performance Urus Perfomante will arrive on our borders. In India, along with the Bentley Bentayga and the Audi RSQ8, the Lamborghini Urus Perfomante competes with the Aston DBX 707, Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, and Maserati Levante Trofeo.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante sets a new standard in every aspect, delivering increased power of 657 bhp, setting the best weight-to-power reference in its class with a new lightweight, aerodynamic design, chassis set-up, and sporty driving dynamics with specific drive mode calibration, including the new Rally mode specifically designed for the Performante version of the Urus. The Urus Performante has a top speed of 306 kmph, a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of just 3.3 seconds, and 850 Nm of torque at just 2,300 rpm.
The pure, sharper, more pronounced bonnet and bumper design helps to distinguish this variant from the standard Urus. The Urus Performante is bold and has aeronautical dynamism. The car makes heavy use of composite materials and has the most carbon fiber elements in its category. The bonnet, which includes the air outlet, is forged from lightweight carbon fiber in body color or, as an alternative, partially visible carbon fiber, with deep cuts in the hood lines down to the new front bumper. Optional carbon fiber roofs pay homage to Lamborghini super sports vehicles like the Super Trofeo and Huracán Performante.
The substantial front and rear wing and bumper of the Urus Performante add to its reduced stance in profile and add 25 mm to its overall length. The Urus Performante's rear also stands out thanks to its purposeful, high-performance design. The Aventador SVJ served as design influence for the rear spoiler, which adds to the downforce boost. With a lightweight titanium Akrapovi sports exhaust that comes standard and develops its distinctive Lamborghini resonance depending on the drive mode chosen, the lower rear bumper and diffuser are also made of carbon fiber.
The interior of the cockpit has Nero Cosmus black Alcantara as standard, along with the "Performante trim," a new hexagonal seat stitching pattern, and other choices including a leather interior. Additional Ad Personam customization choices include interior matt carbon fiber accents, red door handles, and a customized kickplate with the Ad Personam emblem. Dedicated color and trim options include an extension of the Performante trim on doors, roof-lining, seat backrests, and rear walls.
Both the inside aluminum trim and the black Alcantara/leather steering wheel are finished in matte black. Both the screen in the center of the console and a sizable arc across the center of the main display are covered with a new HMI visual with a design specifically for the Urus Performante.
