Maruti Suzuki S-Cross might have stopped getting sold in the Indian market but it is on sale in some foreign markets. The S-Cross got the facelift in 2021 but it was not launched in the Indian market. Now, Maruti Suzuki has launched a full hybrid variant of the S-Cross in foreign markets. Earlier it was offered as a mild hybrid option.
The full hybrid engine has got Auto Gear Shift and the mild hybrid will be available in manual transmission only. There is also an Allgrip four-wheel drive option with auto, sport, snow and lock modes.
The mild hybrid vehicle's 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine has a maximum output of 129 horsepower and a maximum torque of 235 Nm. It is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.5 seconds and has a top speed of 195 km/h.
A 1.5-litre, normally aspirated engine powers the powerful hybrid vehicle. The maximum power output is 115 hp, and the maximum torque output is 138 Nm. It connects to a six-speed automatic transmission. In order to take manual control of the transmission, there are also paddle shifters. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 12.7 seconds and has a top speed of 175 km/h.
Motion is the default variation in international markets. 17-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry, a push button engine start/stop, and dual-zone temperature control are included. There are also 17-inch alloy wheels.
Front and rear parking sensors, as well as heated front seats, are additional options. Seven airbags, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control with a speed restriction, and traffic sign recognition are all included in the car's safety features.
Additionally, the Ultra trim features Allgrip Select the four-wheel drive, 17-inch polished alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery, integrated on-board navigation with a nine-inch screen, a panoramic sliding sunroof, and an additional 360-degree camera for the driver's safety and convenience.
