Tata Extends Booking Of Tiago EV For More 10,000 Customers
Tata has opened up their bookings for the recently launched Tiago EV. The introductory price of the car is Rs 8.49 lakh for the first 10,000 costumes but the response that Tata got was unexpected. Tata got all 10,000 bookings on the same day, and with this swift response, Tata extended their bookings for more 10,000 customers. Due to this response, the site of Tata motors got down.
Customers are required to pay the amount of Rs 21,000 for booking the car and the rest will be paid at the dealership customers are going to choose.
Tata Tiago EV's test drive will start in December 2022 and the delivery in January 2023. The new EV car has a range of 315 KM. To charge to 80 percent the car will take 57 mins with a DC charger. And the car can reach up to 100 kmph within 0 to 5.7 sec.
Tata has claimed that this is the safest hatchback EV in India. In collaboration with Tata motors and Tata Power, they have installed 3000 public charging stations so far all over the country.
Talking about the features, this EV has eight-speaker system, range-sensing wipers, cruise control, electric ORVM, and a push start-stop button.
Tata is giving a warranty of up to eight years or 1,60,000 Km. The base model of this car starts from Rs 8.49 and has a battery pack of 19.2 kWh and the top model comes with a battery pack of 24 kWh at Rs 11.79.
