Tata Motors To Increase Price Of Its PVs From 7 Nov

Tata Motors has announced a marginal price increase across its passenger vehicles. Effective November 7, 2022, the weighted average increase will be 0.9%, depending on the variant and model.

The company has been absorbing a significant portion of the increased costs but the steep rise in overall input costs has compelled it to pass on some proportion through this minimal price hike.

Recently Tata launched its third electric vehicle car which is Tiago EV at an opening price of Rs 8.49 lakhs. experts are assuming that this car can become a game changer in the Indian EV market.

Tiago EV is offered with two battery packs that are 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. the claimed range of Tiago is 250 km for a 19.2 kWh battery pack whereas its  350 km for 24 kWh battery pack.

Tata Motors reported heavy sales of PVs in October. Tata sold 45,423 units with an increase of 33 per cent compared to same month in last year.
